Landowners can host solar and storage technology on their property through lease agreements or land sales. This provides a reliable, diversified, and long-term source of income, helping you maximize the value of your land. Choosing a lease over a sale typically involves a 30+ year commitment, allowing multiple generations to benefit from the revenue—with little to no maintenance required from the landowner.
What are the criteria?
Not all land is suitable to host renewable technology. At Treaty Oak, we approach each project with careful planning and a strong commitment to our landowners and other stakeholders.
When considering a site, we look for:
Parcel Size: Each parcel should be at least 750 acres and available for immediate development.
Proximity to Infrastructure: The location should be close to electrical infrastructure.
Sunlight Exposure: The land should receive consistent sunlight without environmental obstructions.
Regulatory Compliance: The site should be free of any restrictions that would prohibit or limit a solar or battery storage project.
