Headquartered in Austin, Texas, and with satellite offices in Houston, Atlanta, and Denver, Treaty Oak features an experienced management team with a track record of developing, commercializing and executing 2 GW+ of utility-scale solar projects, and structuring bespoke offtakes and derivative products for 8 GW+ of power and renewables projects in the US on behalf of utility and independent power producer clients.


Treaty Oak’s management team has a collective 50+ years of experience across critical competencies including power markets, offtake structuring, design, engineering and real estate. Utilizing their differentiated and honed approach to development, Treaty Oak is highly capable of converting greenfield sites into operating assets.


Treaty Oak is a Macquarie Asset Management portfolio company, operating on a stand-alone basis.

Our Leadership Team

Chris Elrod

Chief Executive Officer

Chris is a co-founder of Treaty Oak and has over 15 years of experience in conventional and renewable power M&A, development, and financing. Chris is a co-founder, shareholder, and member of the board of AP Solar Holdings, LLC, which has successfully developed over 1.6GW ac of solar PV generation in the ERCOT region. Chris is also, a co-founder and joint-owner of Houston-based Snapper Creek Energy Advisors, LLC, which helps clients originate, structure, and execute energy commodity risk management solutions.

Chris’ previous experience includes investment banking and principal investment roles with Whitehall & Company, LLC and General Electric’s Energy Financial Services business, respectively. Chris received a B.A. in History (Hons.) from Yale University.

Rohit Ogra

Chief Revenue Officer

Rohit is a co-founder of Treaty Oak and has over 15 years of experience in structured commodities transactions and energy trading. Rohit is a co-founder and shareholder of AP Solar Holdings, LLC, which has successfully developed over 1.6GW ac of solar PV generation in the ERCOT region. Rohit is also, a co-founder and joint-owner of Houston-based Snapper Creek Energy Advisors, LLC, which helps clients originate, structure, and execute energy commodity risk management solutions.

Rohit’s previous experience includes energy trading and structured transactions at both Macquarie Bank and Lehman Brothers and principal advisory at a Houston-based boutique commodities advisory firm.

Rohit holds a BS in Electrical Engineering (Hons.) and an MS in Quantitative and Computational Finance from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Jon Keen

Chief Operating Officer

Jon has over 15 years of experience in strategy and operations for large public and private sector organizations. Jon was the Chief Operating Officer for the City of Atlanta where he led 15 operating departments, including the City’s utilities, and managed a $2 billion budget and 8200 employees. Prior to the City, Jon was a strategy and operations consultant with Deloitte Consulting and served as an Army infantry officer.

Jon holds a BS in Industrial Engineering (Hons.) from Georgia Tech, a MBA from Emory’s Goizueta Business School, and a MPA from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government.

J.R. Imber, III

Head of Origination

J.R has over 10 years of experience in conventional and renewable energy land origination and acquisitions. JR ran all land activities for AP Solar Holdings, LLC, including originating and managing surface and subsurface engagements for its 1.6GW ac of solar PV portfolio in ERCOT.

J.R previous experience includes providing advice to institutional investors on the acquisition of over $300mm of oil and gas royalties, consulting services for oil and gas and natural gas compression implementation of assets for water transfer and flowback services in the Permian Basin for Rockwater Energy Solutions.

J.R holds a BA in Economics from the University of Texas at Austin and a Certificate of Petroleum Land Management from UT’s PETEX program in Houston.

Arya Karjooy

Head of Finance

Arya has over 5 years of experience in valuation analysis and conventional and renewable energy financing. Arya supported all project financing activities for AP Solar Holdings, LLC’s 1.5GWac solar PV portfolio in ERCOT. Prior to AP Solar, Arya was a senior associate in PwC’s Deals group.

Arya holds a BBA in Accounting with Highest Honors and an MPA from the University of Texas at Austin.

Trevor Curry

Head of Technical and Execution

Trevor Curry, Head of Development, has over 15 years of experience in renewable energy of more than 10 GW of operating assets globally. Mr. Curry leads the technical risk and opportunity roadmap for the development portfolio, including interconnection, equipment selection, contractor selection, and contract negotiation for equipment and contractors. He has worked in utility operations, interconnection, high voltage design, energy economics, renewable policy, operating asset valuation, and retrofit capex models. He has held various roles at American Electric Power, Sargent & Lundy, Black & Veatch, Recurrent Energy, and PureGen Power.

Mr. Curry received a B.S. Electrical Engineering from Ohio State, MBA from Haas School of Business, and is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Jessica Morgan

General Counsel

Jessica Morgan, Head of Legal and HR, is responsible for drafting and negotiating key company contracts, managing and coordinating outside counsel, and maintaining internal corporate policies. Jessica has 10 years of experience in providing legal counsel at the Public Utility Commission of Texas (PUCT) and a variety of renewable energy clients as an associate at Husch Blackwell.

Ms. Morgan received a B.A. from Trinity University, J.D. from Lewis & Clark Law School.

Patricia Sherman Bruce

Head of Real Estate
Patricia

Patricia Sherman Bruce, Head of Real Estate, has a substantial background in real estate including title, survey, and due diligence review; title insurance coverage, rules, and procedures; drafting and negotiating site control documents including restrictions and joint use agreements; and property development for the development, acquisition, construction, operation, and disposition of commercial property, including renewable projects.

Lisa Murphy, Head of Environmental and Permitting, is responsible for all matters related to environmental and permitting for the development portfolio and has over 30 years of experience in project development and permitting. Ms. Murphy previously founded Hill Country Environmental where she provided permitting and environmental consulting services for Texas projects.

Ms. Murphy received a B.A. from Texas A&M University.
